Store the African Black Soap Face Wash in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed after each use to maintain freshness. Because this formula contains raw black soap and natural oils, slight separation or changes in color can occur over time. This is normal for a natural product. Gently shake before use if needed.
Preservation & Natural Ingredients
This face wash is made with a short, simple ingredient list: African black soap, glycerin, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, castor oil, aloe vera gel and turmeric powder. It is free from sulfates, synthetic detergents and harsh preservatives. Instead, it relies on the naturally cleansing properties of black soap and the balancing, soothing benefits of plant oils and aloe vera. Turmeric adds an extra boost to help support a more even-looking, radiant complexion.
Shelf Life
Because this formula contains aloe vera gel and no strong synthetic preservatives, we recommend using it within 3–6 months after opening. To maintain quality, always use clean, dry hands when handling the bottle and avoid letting shower water enter the container.

African black soap helps remove excess oil and impurities, while glycerin and aloe vera help keep the skin from feeling stripped. The added plant oils (grapeseed, avocado and castor) provide light nourishment and comfort, helping the skin feel clean yet balanced. For very dry or very sensitive skin, we recommend starting slowly (e.g. a few times per week) and following with a gentle moisturizer.
Texture Note
Due to the presence of natural black soap and turmeric powder, slight sediment or uneven color may appear over time. This does not affect the performance of the product and is a normal feature of natural, minimally processed ingredients.

How To Use
Step 1 - Start Slowly (Build-Up Phase)
Use the face wash 2–3 times per week during your first week.
If you’re new to African Black Soap, do not leave it on for the full 30 seconds right away.
Step 2 - Apply
Apply a small amount to damp skin and gently massage until it lightly lathers.
Step 3 - Pause
Let it sit for 10–20 seconds during the first few uses.
➡️ If you have sensitive skin, start with an even shorter time.
Step 4 - Rinse & Moisturize
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and always follow with a moisturizer to support your skin barrier.
PRO TIPS:
A tingling sensation is normal.
African Black Soap is a potent natural ingredient. Light tingling during the first few uses is expected and typically decreases as your skin adjusts.
If you experience stinging, shorten the contact time.
Try 5–10 seconds until your skin becomes more accustomed.
Build up gradually.
Increase frequency slowly and use daily only if your skin tolerates it well.
Use in the evening during the adjustment period.
This gives your skin time to recover overnight.
If irritation persists:
Reduce usage frequency or pause until your skin settles.
For makeup removal, double cleanse.
