What is African Black Soap and what is it good for?
It's a natural cleanser from West Africa, made by hand from plant ash and natural oils. It cleanses deeply but gently, lifting away oil, sweat and impurities and leaves skin feeling cleaner and more even. A favourite among people with blemish-prone or sensitive skin.
Can I use it around shaving?
Many people do. As a natural cleanser it helps prep the skin before and calm it after, on your face, legs, underarms, anywhere you shave. The face wash even has aloe vera and panthenol to help soothe. Less irritation, smoother-feeling skin.
Is it okay for daily use?
Yes, as long as you build it up gradually. Start a few times a week, see how your skin responds, and always follow with a good moisturiser. A light tingle in the first week is normal.
Should I get the Face Wash, Body Wash, or both?
