What is Cocoa butter?

Cocoa butter is made from roasted cocoa beans. By pressing the cocoa beans, cocoa butter is created. Unlike our other butters, this one has a 'melting degree' of 36. This is a lot higher than Mango, coconut and shea butter. The Cacao trees grow in many different places such as West Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
