What is African Black Soap and what is it good for?
Original African Black Soap is a 100% natural soap from West Africa that deeply cleanses, nourishes, softens, and when used regularly helps prevent or reduce various skin concerns. Thanks to its gentle, pure formula and powerful effects, this black soap is a favorite among people with (sensitive) skin issues.
How to use our African black soap face wash?
Step 1 - Start Slowly (Build-Up Phase)
Use the face wash 2–3 times per week during your first week.
If you’re new to African Black Soap, do not leave it on for the full 30 seconds right away.
Step 2 - Apply
Apply a small amount to damp skin and gently massage until it lightly lathers.
Step 3 - Pause
Let it sit for 10–20 seconds during the first few uses.
➡️ If you have sensitive skin, start with an even shorter time.
Step 4 - Rinse & Moisturize
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and always follow with a moisturizer to support your skin barrier.
PRO TIPS:
A tingling sensation is normal.
African Black Soap is a potent natural ingredient. Light tingling during the first few uses is expected and typically decreases as your skin adjusts.
If you experience stinging, shorten the contact time.
Try 5–10 seconds until your skin becomes more accustomed.
Build up gradually.
Increase frequency slowly and use daily only if your skin tolerates it well.
Use in the evening during the adjustment period.
This gives your skin time to recover overnight.
If irritation persists:
Reduce usage frequency or pause until your skin settles.
For makeup removal, double cleanse.

What are Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid? And why do we combine them?
We use a carefully balanced blend of niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, (and squalane) to create a face crème that supports, soothes, and strengthens the skin naturally and effectively.
Niacinamide is a water-soluble form of vitamin B3 and one of the most well-researched skin-improving ingredients. It visibly reduces redness, minimizes enlarged pores, improves uneven skin tone, and reinforces the skin’s natural barrier. On a cellular level, niacinamide boosts the production of essential lipids and ceramides, which are vital for a strong and healthy skin barrier.
Hyaluronic acid, on the other hand, is a naturally occurring molecule in the body known for its incredible ability to retain moisture, it can hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water. This keeps the skin plump, elastic, and deeply hydrated. As we age, our natural levels of hyaluronic acid decline, leading to dryness, fine lines, and a loss of volume.
