  • The good news: The Netherlands is known for its unpredictable weather. We monitor conditions daily and will ship your body butter the moment it's safe to do so. You'll receive a shipping confirmation as soon as your order is on its way.

Keep it cool

Store your body butter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. It melts above 24°C.

Use the fridge

During a heatwave, the refrigerator is your best friend. Keep the lid closed tight and it will stay fresh.

If it melts

No worries, quality is not affected. Place it in the fridge to resolidify. The texture may become firmer than the original whipped consistency, but it works exactly the same.

Yes. You can cancel your order and place two separate orders: one with the body butter (which will be held) and one without (shipped same day before 22:00).

My body butter arrived melted, is it still good?

Yes, absolutely. Melting does not affect the quality or effectiveness of our body butters at all. Simply place it in the refrigerator and let it resolidify slowly. Keep in mind: once set, it will have a firmer, more compact texture rather than the light whipped consistency you may be used to. It looks a little different, but works exactly the same. You can gently stir it after setting for a more even texture.
Why do your body butters melt in the heat?

All of our body butters are made with 100% natural butters, shea, mango, coconut and cacao which naturally melt at warm temperatures. This is actually a sign of purity: no artificial stabilizers, no synthetic ingredients that raise the melting point. Just nature, as it should be.
Does this apply to all your body butters?

Yes, this applies to all body butters in our range.

Our lotions, shower oils, and face care products are not affected and ship as normal. (Same day when ordered before 22:00)
How do I store my body butter in summer?

Keep it in a cool, dry spot away from direct sunlight, a spot inside your home is perfectly fine.

No need to put it in the fridge as long as it hasn't melted. If the room gets warmer than 24°C, move it to a cupboard or a slightly cooler spot in the house. Avoid leaving it in a hot car or near a window.
When will body butter shipping resume?

As soon as temperatures consistently drop below 24°C. We'll send an email update to let you know when shipping has resumed. You can also check this page for the latest status.
