Plain Jane starts with shea butter as its base, deeply nourishing and rich in vitamins. Then comes the cocoa: far more than in any of our other butters.
Cocoa butter is one of the richest, most nourishing butters there, is full of fatty acids and naturally rich in antioxidants. That's what makes Plain Jane so thick and creamy.

Why does it smell like chocolate?
That soft chocolate scent comes purely from the cocoa butter itself, not from a bottle. There's no added parfum and no added fragrance.
Why is there no water in it?
Our butters are water-free on purpose. No water means no filler, and barely any preservatives needed. So what you get is pure and concentrated, with every ingredient there for a reason.
Why does nairobi skincare use unrefined shea butter?
We use unrefined shea butter because it keeps its natural vitamins and fatty acids. That's what makes it lovely and nourishing for the skin.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It's made without parfum and kept as gentle as possible, the kind of thing skin that reacts to everything tends to get along with. It's even gentle enough for the little ones.
